SIBiol and Science Centre Singapore co-organised the 8th Singapore Junior Biology Olympiad (SJBO) for students from Secondary 2 to 4 (or their international equivalent) and welcomed all Singapore-based schools to take part on Wednesday 10th May 2023. A record-breaking 2347 students from 93 schools participated in the online Theory Round this year.

For the SJBO Theory Round Competition, 116 students received gold medals, 269 received silver medals, 349 received bronze medals and 247 received honorable mention. Congratulations to all participants and schools for the excellent results!
